Unit Objectives 1. Through reading the brief history of Western painting, have a good understanding of the history of Western painting art, grasping the characteristics of Western painting works in different historical periods, and through sharing and communicating their appreciation of Western painting styles, thinking about the significance and value of mining out art, so as to enhance the ability of understanding, experiencing and appreciating beauty. 2. Through observation, analysis and practice, students can master the function and usage of the infinitive as predicative. 3. Through listening and speaking, students can understand the creation background and representative works of Chinese ink cartoons, stimulate the interest of Chinese traditional ink painting art, enhance the cultural self-confidence, and learn to grasp the narrative logic and key points of the theme display. 4. Through reading and grasping the stylistic structure and language characteristics of the two practical essays, namely the theme exhibition introduction essay and the exhibition propaganda page, and feeling the unique charm and dissemination value of art, students can independently write a short art exhibition announcement. 5.
