Teaching process:
Step 1:Lead-in
Look at some pictures about environmental problems and solutions. Talk about your understanding of “green living”. Answer the questions.

Step 2:Pre-listening
1. Learn and read the vocabularies.

2. Read the Text Builder carefully.
Teacher explains the main words and phrases in the Text Builder.
Step 3:While-listening
Listen to the introduction at a Green Living Exhibition and complete it by underlining the words or expressions you hear.
(1) What are the problems of the environment?
(2) What are the solutions to protect the environment?
(3) What do they think is important to fight against global warming?
Step 4:Post-listening
1. Check the answers together. Discuss in groups and talk about what we can do to promote green living and share the ideas in class.
2. Explain the key words, phrases and sentence meaning of the listening text.
3. Underline some important sentences for them to recite.
4. Read and discuss the quotes in pairs or groups.
