Lesson 14： Amazing Animals 教学设计 教学目标： 1.Learn the news words and expression by heart. mouse-mice,lay-laid-laid,shake-shook-shaken, avoid, flap,eggplant... be famous for..., look like, as...as... 2.Read and understand the text and know about “What makes them amazing?” 3.Know about some amazing animals and build the sense of loving animals. 教学重难点： 1.Read and understand the text and know about “What makes them amazing?” 2.Know about some amazing animals and build the sense of loving animals. 教学准备：ppt,video 教学过程： Step1：Lead-in: 1. Let’s chant: I say animal, you say pig. animal,pig.animal , pig. I say animal, you say dog. animal,dog,animal,dog. （设计意图：由于是下午的课，学生状态相对比较疲乏，简单的课前热身，通过与学生的简单的互动，激发学生的活力因子，让他们以一个饱满的状态开始新课的学习。） 2.Enjoy a short video about amazing animals. (设计意图：通过有趣的动画视频激发他们的兴趣，调动学习的积极性和学习热情，引入新课。) Step2: Show learning aims: The teacher explains the aims of this lesson. （设计意图：出示目标，让学生明确本课需要掌握的内容，让学生有目的的去学习课文，提高学习的效率。） Step3: New concept: 1.Listening task:The teacher shows some questions on ppt,asks students to listen to the Para.1 carefully and write (T/F). ( Require:Before listening ,Students should look though the questions on the ppt , then close the book and listen carefully.) (听力训练的内容虽然以课文为内容，但是习题的设置很简单，在听前让学生读问题，并理解问题后，再去听，将听力的难度大大降低，也能达到听力训练的目的。) 2.After listening, let students to read out the new words. (由于本段内容中四会单词只有mouse-mice,long-eared jerboa只需会读，会认就可以，所以让学生在听力中去正音，能帮助学生养成一个较好的听读习惯。) 3.The teacher shows some questions on ppt,and asks the students to read Para.2 one by one,and then answer the questions.（设计意图：通过开火车找出学生读起来费劲的不熟悉的单词，教师给学生及时给予指导，帮助学生正音并理解课文内容。） 4.The teacher shows a chart on ppt,asks student to read the Para.3 together and read the Para.4 by themselves and fill in the blanks.(设计意图：让学生通过齐读、自读的方式，熟悉文本并能够在完成表格的过程中加深对文本的理解，为接下来的文本填空完成report做好准备。) 5.Language point：The teacher explains the key phases and expressions.
