They are so poor that they don't have enough money to buy TVs，cars or mobile phones. They make a living mainly by herding (放牧) cows and sheep. My trip to Africa isn't a holiday. I didn't take too many photos. It's part of the school project (项目) for lessons. The school hopes the students will have more life experiences. Kenya is a country which is completely new to the students from Los Angeles. When we got there，we put on local clothing. Boys herded cows and girls collected wood (树 木) and water. Families lived on their cows. As a result，the herdsmen and the students had to move from one area to another in order to find more grass for the cows to eat. Now in Los Angeles，Kenya is still on our minds. Disasters (灾害) have killed many cows in Kenya，so we decide to raise money to buy cows for the local people. It takes them $100 to buy a cow. In Kenya，one cow means more to the health of a family than money. A cow will give a kid milk every day. Helping the herdsmen in Kenya is just the beginning.
