Chapter 3
Working in F&B Department
On Beverages Service
Beverages service is another important section of the food and beverage department. When dining in a restaurant, many guests enjoy beverages before, with, or after their meals. The correct service of beverages depends on a good knowledge of the serving procedures, types of drinks, glassware, beverages temperature and so on. Also, a server should know which beverage goes well with a particular food, so that he may offer suggestions when necessary.
