UNIT 2 ICONIC ATTRACTIONS 1 Introduce an iconic attraction in your city or town To introduce an iconic attraction in your city or town What would people expect to experience when they travel to a new place? What typical or local features should be mentioned in an introduction of the place? In groups, brainstorm the kinds of things that people would most like to experience when they travel to a new place. Examples include: culture foods buildings celebrities festivals scenic views 1 Apart from these, what other kinds of things can you think of? legend fairy story iconic animals special plants special songs or dances Do some research and come up with three iconic attractions that may best represent your city or town.
