Unit 1 What’s he like? 教学设计 一、单元教学目标 1 .掌握A、B部分“Let's learn”，“Let's talk中的词汇和句子。 2.能正确地询问和回答各科老师的性格特征，如“What's your maths teacher like?”,“Is he funny?”,“Yes, he is.”, “No, he isn't.” 3.能顺利完成本单元的听力、对话、表演、写作、连线、填空等任务。 4.能读懂“Story time”部分的趣味故事。 5.能听懂，会唱歌曲“Who's your teacher?”。 6.复习元音字母在单词中的发音，培养学生对英语单词发音的语感。 7.激发学生学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生树立学好英语的信心，逐步培养学生自主学习、合作学习的能力和欲望。 8.培养学生尊敬、热爱老师的情感，提高学生在与人相处时准确判断他人性格特征的意识和能力。 9.培养学生乐于助人、努力学习的美好品德。 二、教学重、难点 重点： 1 .掌握A、B部分“Let's learn”，“Let's talk中的词汇和句子。 2.能正确地询问和回答各科老师的性格特征，如“What's your maths teacher like?”,“Is he funny?”,“Yes, he is.”, “No, he isn't.” 3.能顺利完成本单元的听力、对话、表演、写作、连线、填空等任务。 难点： 能结合所学的词汇及句型问答人物的外貌和性格特征。 三、课时安排：6课时 第一课时 一、教学内容：A. Let’s learn ＆ Ask and answer 二、教学目标 1. 能够理解以下问句：Are you familiar with Mr. Young? / Who is he? Is he of a youthful age? / Is he humorous? 2. 能够准确地理解、口头表达和流利朗读以下交际用语及其回答：Do you know Mr. Young? / Who is he? Is he young? / Is he funny? 并掌握相关句型。 3. 具备听说读写以下单词的能力：elderly，youthful，amusing，tall，amicable，gentle，calm，并能在上下文中理解其含义。 4. 能够听懂、口头表达、并通过表演呈现对话内容，同时在实际情境中熟练应用所需的核心句型，进行面对面的真实对话交流。 三、教学重、难点 教学重点：掌握Let’s learn部分的单词，能根据该部分人物信息替换示例对话中的关键词进行对话练习。 教学难点：能结合所学的词汇及句型问答人物的外貌和性格特征。 四、教学准备 多媒体教学一体机、音频、视频、课件。 五、教学过程 Step 1 Warm-up  Greetings (师生之间打招呼问候)  Enjoy the song—Hello, my friend 教师播放视频歌曲，让学生听音乐跟唱。Play the video. Let students sing together with the music.  Free talk 呈现Main scene图片，播放视频，引导学生讨论。Show the picture of “Main scene” in Unit1. Play the video. Discuss with students about what they are talking about. Step 2 Presentation&Practice 1. Lead in 呈现新同学Oliver和五位新老师图片。Show the new student Oliver and five new teachers respectively on the PPT. 2. New words（单词/句型学习） (1)教授单词young/old。Teach the two words“young/old”. Show the picture of “Let’s learn” and circle the picture of Mr Jones. (2)教授单词funny。Teach the word“funny”. Show the picture of “Let’s learn” and circle the picture of Miss Green. Write down the word “funny” on the blackboard and read: fun-ny, funny, funny, she’s funny. Let students try to spell it
