一般过去时 本模块我们学习一般过去时的用法和由谓语动词be构成的一般过去时的各种句式。 一、用法 一般过去时可表示过去的状态、过去的特征、过去的行为等。如： 1. The river was clean ten years ago. 2. He was kind and helpful. 3. The man was worried about his health at that time. 二、由谓语动词be构成的一般过去时的句式 ★肯定句：主语+was / were+其他. 如： 1. The town was small in 1980. 2. They were strong then. ★否定句：主语+was / were+not (wasn’t / weren’t)+其他. 如： 1. The town was not (wasn’t) small in 1980. 2. They were not (weren’t) strong then. ★一般疑问句及回答： Was / Were+主语+其他? Yes, 主语+was / were.
