I stopped because I was afraid of driving into a farmer's field, a ditch or worse. I called 911. The dispatcher(调度员)told me nobody was coning to get me until morning at the earliest. Those seconds after the call were extremely difficult. I worried other drivers wouldn't see me and would crash into the car from the front or behind.
