Can you talk about them and spell the words? S: Yes, I can. T: What things he lost? S: He lost a pencil, a schoolbag, a watch… T: How do you spell it? S: W-A-T-C-H. Step 2. Lead-in. (1) T: What should the little piggy do? Do you often lose things like little piggy? What things do you lose? S: He should write a lost notice. I often lose things like a pen, an eraser and so on. (2) Work on 2a. Write the things you lose easily. school ID card, watch, key, wallet, schoolbag, pen, ruler, eraser, notebook, … Step 3. Pre-reading Let’s look at the pictures. Some students are reading the notices on the board. The notices are about the things students lost and found. Let’s have a look. T: How many notices can you see in the picture? S: Four.
