Unit 13　We're trying to save the earth! Period Ⅲ　Section B(1a～1e) 通过听说训练来学习与环境污染、保护环境、保护濒危动物和拯救地球相关的词汇。 1．通过听力训练，学生能听懂关于环境污染和保护环境的听力材料，提高学生的听力能力。 2．能正确运用现在进行时态，used to结构，现在完成时态，被动语态和情态动词谈论与环境污染和环境保护相关的话题。 3．通过让学生从环保的角度谈论应该和不该做的事情，激发学生的环保意识。 1．重点： (1)提高学生的听力能力，让学生练习使用目标语言。 (2)提高学生的口语交际能力。 2．难点： (1)用目标句型编造对话。 (2)通过听说训练让学生听懂Julia和Jack所谈论的事情。 Step 1　Lead－in 1．Greeting. 2．Play videos about our environment to lead the students into the lesson. 3．Let the students discuss the following questions： (1)What can we do to help our environment? (2)How can we help to stop air/land/water pollution? (3)What can we do at school? 通过观看视频、小组讨论的方式，激发学生的学习兴趣，让学生积极主动地参与到课堂中。 Step 2　Warming up(1a～1b) 1．Get the students to make a list of the ways of what we can do to save the earth，using the results of the discussion at Step 1. 2．Then say in which ways they have done well. 3．Make the students read the items in 1a and rank them from 1 to 5. 4．Ask the students to compare their answers in 1a with their partners. 通过排序，让学生了解保护环境的基本方式，为接下来的听说训练奠定基础。 Step 3　Listening(1c) 1．Get the students to read the introduction of 1c and read the phrases in the first column.Let them learn the meaning of them. 2．Play the recording for the first time.Let the students check the things that Julia and Jack talk about.Check the answers with the class.
