1.what 引导的感叹句
what 为形容词，作定语，修饰它后面的名词或词组。如:
What a day!意思是“多么糟糕的一天!”含有令人难忘的意味。
根据具体的语境，其意思也可以是“多么糟糕的一天!”、“多么倒霉的一天!”、“多么忙碌的一天!”、或“多么美好的一天!”
what 引导的感叹句有三种形式:
(1)What+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数(+主语+谓语)!如:
What a good girl (she is)!她是个多么好的女孩啊!
(2)What+形容词+不可数名词(+主语+谓语)!如:
What bad weather (it is)!多么糟糕的天气啊!
(3)What+形容词+可数名词复数(+主语+谓语)!如:
What good students (they are)!他们是多么好的学生啊!
注意:有时主语和谓语可省略。
2. It’s time for +名词.= It’s time to+动词. 意思是:该是做什么事情的时候了。
It was time for lunch. = It was time to have lunch.该吃午饭的时候了。
It's time for school. = It’s time to go to school.该是上学的时候了。
3. show 的用法
①show 动词，意思是“出示”。
重点词组:show sth. to sb. = show sb. sth.把某物展示给某人看 如:
Liu Tao showed his pictures to his friends.刘涛把他的画展示给他的朋友们看。
② show 作为名词，意思是“展示，演出”。如:
There was a parrot show in the park.在公园里有一个鹦鹉表演。类似的单词还有:
watch(名词)手表，(动词)观看;play(名词)戏剧，(动词)玩，玩耍;rain(名词)雨，(动词)下雨;park(名词)公园，(动词)停车;fly(名词)苍蝇，(动词)飞。如:
There is a lot of rain in our city.我们城市雨水很多。
It is raining now.现在正在下雨。

4. look for 和 find 的区别
相同点:look for和 find 都有“找到”的意思。
(1)look for 是有目的地“找”，强调“寻找”的过程;
(2)find 则强调“寻找”的结果，是“找到”、“发现”的意思。如:
---What are you looking for, Yang Ling?杨玲，你在找什么?
--- I'm looking for my English book, but I can't find it.我在找我的英语书，但我找不到它。
5.could 的用法
could 是 can 的过去式，否定形式为couldn't。
could 和 couldn't后面接动词原形。
6.日期的表达方法
the+ 序数词 +of+月份 the twentieth of September九月二十日
月份 +the+序数词 September the twentieth九月二十日
