Step 2 Work on Grammar Focus 1.Read the sentences and let the students repeat. 2.Have the students practice reading the sentences by themselves. 3.Ask the students to think about the sentences carefully. 4.Conclude the usage of “where” and “why”. Step 3 Work on 3a 1.Let the students complete the conversation. 2.Have some students present their conversations with their partners. 3.Check the answers together. Step 4 Work on 3b 1.Get the students to write names of animals that they like and don’t like,and share in pairs. 2.Invite several students to share their choices.
