(Ask three students to write on the board.) Step 2 Work on 1a-1b 1.Lead the students to read the words and look at the pictures in 1a. 2.Let the students match the words with the pictures. 3.Get the students to make conversations with their partners about how they get to school using two types of transportation. 4.Invite some pairs to share their sentences with the whole class. Step 3 Work on 1c-1d 1.Ask the students to read the sentences in 1c.Then play the recording for the students to complete the task. 2.Let two students present their answers. 3.Play the recording again to check the answers. 4.Play the recording for a third time and get the students to finish the practice in 1d. 5.Check the answers. 6.Ask the students to turn to page 90,then play the recording to read the tapescript.
