课堂教学
Step 1 情景导入
Teacher:Before the class,you can think about the questions.Do you often talk with your neighbours?Do you often play with your neighbours?Do you like visiting them?Do they often visit your home?Do you think they’re good visitors?What do you think of your neighbours?
Step 2 完成教材Comic strip的任务
1.让学生认真听录音,回答下列问题。
(1)Where’s Hobo going?
He’s going to visit his new neighbours.
(2)What does Eddie do when he visits his neighbours?
He often has food and drinks.
(3)Will the new neighbours like Eddie?
No,they won’t.
2.让学生再次听录音,并跟读,注意语音和语调。
Step 3 完成教材Welcome to the unit的任务
1.引导学生观察Part A中的图片,分组讨论图片中不同职业的人及其工作场所。
2.要求学生完成Part A的练习,并核对答案。
3.让学生认真听Part B的录音,回答下列问题。
(1)Where’s Simon’s flat?
It’s in City Garden in Ninth Street.
(2)How many buildings are there in Simon’s neighbourhood?
About 20/twenty.
(3)How many floors do the buildings have?
Most of them have 14 floors.
(4)What does Simon have around his neighbourhood?
Supermarkets,restaurants,a school and a hospital.
4.让学生再次听录音并跟读Part B的对话,两人一组练习对话。找几组学生上台展示,老师点评。
板书设计
1.“be+动词的现在分词”构成现在进行时。但be going to并不表示现在进行,而表示“打算;将要”。
