专题六 连词——2024届中考英语一轮复习进阶讲义【人教版】 一、连词定义 用来连接词、短语、从句或句子的词叫连词。连词是一种虚词,在句中不能单独使用。连词可分为两类:并列连词和从属连词。 二、并列连词 1. 并列连词的用法 (1) 表示并列关系的连词 表示并列关系的连词有and, both…and…, neither…nor, not only… but also… 等。 She likes both sports and music. 她既喜欢运动又喜欢音乐。 (2) 表示转折关系的连词 表示转折关系的连词有but, yet, while, however等,都可以意为“然而”。 I like summer while my sister likes spring. 我喜欢夏天,而我妹妹喜欢春天。 (3) 表示选择关系的连词 表示选择关系的连词有or, either…or…, not…but…等。 The meal is not for one, but for many to enjoy. 这顿饭不是为了一个人,而是供大家享用的。 (4) 表示因果关系的连词 表示因果关系的连词有so, for等。for意为“因为”,表示原因,主要用来进行补充说明。 I t began to rain, so we had to stay here. 天开始下雨了,因此我们不得不待在这里。 2. 并列连词连接的常用句型 (1) and用在“祈使句+and+简单句”句型中,表示语义上的顺承。此结构中的祈使句可以转换为if引导的条件句,这时陈述句前的and应去掉。 Work hard, and you'll be successful. = If you work hard, you'll be successful. 只要努力,你一定会成功。 (2) or用在“祈使句+or+简单句”句型中,表示语义上的转折关系,意为“否则,要不然”。 Come on, or you will be late for school. 快点儿,否则你上学会迟到的。 三、从属连词 1. 从属连词的种类 表示时间:when, while, as, before, after, until, since, as soon as 表示原因和结果:because, since, as, so 表示条件:if, unless, as long as 表示让步:though, although, even if 表示疑问:if, whether 表示方式:as, just as, as if 表示比较:as…as not so…as, than 表示目的:so that 2. 从属连词的用法 (1) 引导宾语从句的从属连词主要有that, if, whether等。 I'm glad that you're ready to help others. 我很高兴你乐于帮助别人。 (2) 引导状语从句的从属连词 ①引导时间状语从句的从属连词有:when,while,as,after,before, since, until, as soon as等。 ②引导原因状语从句的从属连词有:because,as,since等。 ③引导条件状语从句的从属连词有:if,unless,in case,as long as等。 ④引导目的状语从句的从属连词有:so that,in order that等。 ⑤引导结果状语从句的从属连词有:so,so...that...,such...that...等。 ⑥引导让步状语从句的从属连词有:though, although,even though,however等。 (3) 引导定语从句、表语从句、主语从句的从属连词有:that,if,whether,what,when,why,where,how等。 典例剖析 1.【2020浙江温州】6.Little Mary says good night to her parents_ she goes to bed every day.
