Section A 1.Make sb./sth. + 形容词 “使某人/某物...” Make sb./sth. + do “让某人做某事” Make sb./ sth. + 名词 “使某人/某物成为...” Eg: The story makes me happy. 这个故事让我很开心。 They made me repeat the whole story. 他们非让我把整个事件再说一遍。 This event made him a hero. 这件事让他成为英雄。 2.Uncomfortable (形容词) “不舒服的” - comfortable (形容词) “舒服的” 3.Relax (动词) “放松;宽慰” - relaxed (形容词) “放松的” 修饰人 - relaxing (形容词) “令人放松的”修饰物 4.sleepy (形容词)“欲睡的;困倦的”,常指人昏昏欲睡或沉睡时的寂静状态 Asleep (形容词) “睡着的;麻木的”,常指睡着的状态 5.Would rather do sth. than do sth. = prefer to do sth. rather than do sth. 宁愿做...也不愿做...
