第三课时 Section B (1a~1e) ①时间的读法 1.正读法 (1)整点：数词或“数词+o’clock”。 例：5：00读作five/five o’clock。 (2)先读小时，再读分钟；如需区分上下午，可在时间后加a.m.或p.m. 例：4：30 p.m.读作four thirty p.m.。 2.倒读法 (1)分钟小于30 用“分钟数+past+钟点数”；30分钟用half表示；15分钟用a quarter表示。 例：8：14读作fourteen past eight； 8：15读作a quarter past eight。 (2)分钟大于30 用“(60-分钟数)+to+(钟点数+1)”；15分钟用a quarter 表示。 例：8：46读作fourteen to nine；8：45读作a quarter to nine。 (3)a.m.和p.m. a.m.表示“午前；上午”(午夜12：00后至中午12：00前)；p.m.表示“午后；下午”(中午12：00后至午夜12：00前)。在使用时常用小写形式，但有时也可使用大写形式，比如本课电子钟就采用了大写形式AM和PM。 ②活动类短语汇总 get up起床； go to bed上床睡觉； eat breakfast/lunch/dinner吃早餐/午餐/晚餐； go to school去上学； go home回家； brush (one’s) teeth刷牙； do (one’s) homework做作业； clean (one’s) room打扫房间； take a walk散步； take a shower淋浴。 总结：(1)eat+早/中/晚餐时，中间不要冠词。(2)go意为“去；走”，后接home，there等地点副词时，其前一般不要介词；后接地点名词时，要加介词to。 (3)do作动词，意为“做；干”，指做具体的工作，强调动作、行为。其后的宾语常常是homework，housework等。其中one’s代表形容词性物主代词。(4)“take+a+n.”表示做一次动作，意义相当于相应的动词。 Ⅰ.按要求完成下列各题。 A)根据中文提示写出下列时间的读法。 1.8点 eight o’clock 2.晚上9点10分 ten past nine/nine ten in the evening 3.11点45分 a quarter to twelve/eleven forty-five 4.2点13分 two thirteen/thirteen past two B)根据中文提示翻译下列短语。 5.做作业 do (one’s) homework 6.散步 take a walk 7.打扫房间clean one’s room 8.回家go home Ⅱ.单项填空。 (B)9.I like to take walk before going to bed at night.
