Unit3 单元语法------形容词和副词的比较级 1. 形容词和副词的比较级的构成 英语中，大多数形容词和副词有三个等级：原级、比较级和最高级。形容词和副词的比较级的构成分规则变化和不规则变化。 （1） 规则变化 1. 形容词和副词比较级、最高级的变化规则 （1）规则变化的形容词及副词的比较级和最高级 　一般在词尾直接加er或est。 例如：tall-taller-tallest，long-longer-longest 　以不发音的字母e结尾的单词在词尾直接加r或st。 例如：nice-nicer-nicest fine—finer-finest wide—wider—widest 以辅音字母+y结尾的词，把y变为i，再加er或est。 例如：heavy-heavier-heaviest（ happy early funny ） 重读闭音节，末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写这个辅音字母，再加er或est。 例如：big-bigger-biggest （hot thin fat） 　部分双音节词和多音节词分别在原级前加more构成比较级和most构成最高级。 例如：slowly-more slowly-most slowly；beautiful-more beautiful-most beautiful （interesting serious popular） （2）不规则变化 原级 比较级 good/ well better bad/ badly worse many/ much more little less far farther further old older elder 形容词和副词的比较级前可用much, a lot, a little, a bit, even, far等作修饰语，表示程度。 He’s much stronger than you. 他比你强壮多了。 The shoes are a little larger for me. 这双鞋我穿有点儿大。 注意：more位于多音节形容词或副词前构成比较级，但不能修饰比较级。 比较级语法 1. “A + be +形容词比较级 + than + B” 意思为“A比B更……”。 “A + 行为动词 + 副词比较级 + than + B”意思为“A比B更……” Tom is taller than Mike. Tom比Mike高。 Tom studies harder than Mike. Tom比Mike学习更努力。 注意： 在含有连词than的比较级中，前后的比较对象必须是同一范畴，即同类事物之间的比较。 2.“比较级 + and + 比较级”或“more and more +原级”表示“越来越……” It becomes warmer and warmer when spring comes. 春天来了，天气变得越来越暖和了。 Our country is becoming more and more powerful. 我们的国家变得越来越强大。 3.在含有or的选择疑问句中，如果有两者供选择，前面的形容词要用比较级形式。 Which/Who +be/动词+比较级，A or B? Who is taller,Tim or Tom? 谁更高，Tim还是Tom? 4.“the +比较级……, the+比较级”，表示“越……越……”。 The more books you read,the more widely your mind will open up. The harder you study, the more progress you will make. The sooner，the better. 越快越好。 5. 表示“两者之间较…的一个”时，常用“the+比较级”+of the two He is the thinner of the two. 6. A+be/动词+比较级+than any other+可数名词单数 He did better in math than any other boy in his class.
