Acupuncture:magic needles 教学目标： 本节课围绕单元整体教学目标，设计了三个层面的教学活动，分别是： 1. 学习理解类——基于语篇。以小组合作探究，师生共同合作的形式，对文章的篇章结构及具体内容进行梳理和分析。 2. 应用实践类——深入语篇。引导学生思考中医背后可能的理论基础——阴阳平衡，思考中医的独特优势以及辩证地看待中西医的不同价值，并体会中西医的结合在对抗世界性医学难题方面取得的突出成就。 3. 迁移创新类——超越语篇。围绕单元话题，认识到中医在治疗和预防疾病以及保障身体健康方面的重要性，体会中医文化的博大精深，并意识到肩负弘扬中医文化的重任以及探讨如何弘扬中医文化的举措，使学生在探讨的过程中增强文化自信和民族自豪感。 2. 教学重难点 1. 通过小组合作，自行总结出关于针灸的各方面内容。 2. 通过探索中医的价值以及中西医结合的重要性，体会到弘扬中医文化的重要意义，并探索出弘扬中医文化的有效手段。 教学资源教材、多媒体课件、黑板和粉笔。 教学过程 步骤 教学活动 设计意图 核心素养提升点 Step 1  Ss are shown a cartoon. T invites Ss to think: What medical treatment is indicated in the carton?   创设与主题意义密切相关的情境，引出话题；激发学生的兴趣。  文化意识：初步体会中医文化中针灸的神奇作用。 Step 2   1. Ss are invited to predict the different aspects about acupuncture covered in the article. 2. Ss are divided into four groups and each group is given a task based on the different aspects about acupuncture. Each group is required to complete the task while reading.     根据文章标题，预判文章内容，激发阅读兴趣；读前按小组分配任务，引导任务型针对性阅读。   思维品质：利用标题，推理和判断信息。   学习能力：自主探究，小组合作。 Step 3 Ss and the teacher cooperate with one another to explore more about acupuncture together. Each group is invited to report their task according to the requirement shown on the PPT with the guidance of the teacher. 1) The first group is guided to analyze the structure of the article together according to the mind map shown on the PPT. 2) The Ss are invited to calculate the history of acupuncture and the age in which acupuncture was developed. 3) The second group is guided to report the changes of needles over the years. 4) The third group is invited to describe the treatment procedures of acupuncture.
