Part A Let’s try & Let’s talk教学设计 单元 Unit 1 课时 第 2课时 学习 目标 1.学生能听、说、认读单词dinosaur，hall，than，both，metre；能听、说、读、写句子“That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall.”“It’s taller than both of us together.” 2.学生能积极参与课堂活动，大胆尝试用英语交流。 3.学生能比较人物、事物的差异性，并做出正确的价值判断。 4.学生能感知事物多样性，在理解的基础上进行初步的比较。 教学 重难点 1.能够理解并熟练运用问答身高的句型。 2.能够运用比较级的标志词than进行人或物身高的描述和比较。 3.能够熟练运用交际句型描述或比较人或物的外貌特征。 学情 分析 本课时是人教版六年级下册第一单元的第二课时，与第一课时紧密相连，围绕“恐龙的身高”展开话题。本课时包括Let’s try 和 Let’s talk 两个板块。Let’s try是听力训练，呈现的是关于恐龙的材料。通过听力的练习，学生们获得场景信息，为下面进入正确的对话做好准备。Let’s talk呈现张鹏和Mike 在博物馆讨论恐龙的场景。恐龙是一种神秘的动物，学生们都非常感兴趣。本课时恐龙馆情景的设置，可以激发学生求知的欲望，鼓舞了学生想要用英语表达的热情。 本课时出现了很多生词和词组，dinosaur, hall, maybe, both of，more，over there，这些单词和词组的读音、语义对于学生都有一定的困难，老师应该借助一定的语境、肢体语言、图片等方法帮助学生学习和理解。 教学 工具 PPT，课文视频，音频 教学 方法 情境教学法，任务型教学法，归纳巩固法 教学过程 学习任务 教学活动 设计意图 Part 1： Lead in Step I: Lead in 1.T:Write the comparative forms of these adjectives as quickly as you can. 2.Look and say T:Look at the pictures and describe these people with comparative forms. 复习旧知，在句型当中操练形容词比较级，为下文学习做铺垫。 Part 2 ： Presentation Step II: Let’s watch: 1.Watch a short video about dinosaurs and answer a question: T: Let’s watch a short video and tell me “What animal can you see?” Teach new word “dinosaur”. Let’s try T:Look, Miss White and the children are in the Dinosaur Museum. How many dinosaurs do you see? What are they like? Ss:... . 4.Listen and circle T: Now let’s listen and circle the right answers. Teacher plays the recording, students listen and circle the right answers. Then teacher asks two students to tell their answers. T: Now let’s listen and repeat. 5.Look and tick T: Now look carefully and tick “Which one is the second dinosaur?” Teacher leads students to learn tall-taller-tallest. 6. Let’s talk T:Look!
