仁爱英语七年级单元知识点同步解析 Unit 6 Topic2 Section A 1.-Wang Wei, what kind of home do you live in? 王伟，你住在什么样的房子里?     -It's a townhouse with two floors.是一幢二层的城市住宅。 (1) kind 名词，意为“种类，类型”。what kind of....意为“哪种.....”或“什么样的....?”。如: What kind of sports do you like? 你喜欢哪种运动? a kind of一种;  many kinds of许多种;  all kinds of各种各样的; kind of 表示程度，意为“稍微，有点.....”。如: Swallow is a kind of bird.燕子是一种鸟。 There are many kinds of flowers in the garden.花园里有很多种花。 The store sells all kinds of things.这家商店出售各种各样的东西。 I feel kind of tired.我觉得有点累。 (2)  what 是疑问代词，后面如果要跟动词短语或搭配，动词后的介词不能省去。如: -What are you looking for?你在找什么? -A wallet.一个钱包。 [注意] 其他疑问代词who,  whom, which,  whose也是如此。如: -Which room does Gina live in?吉娜住在哪个房间? -Room 302. 302号房间。 如果是疑问副词where、 when、why、how等，动词后的介词要去掉。如: -Where do you live?你住在哪里? -At Central Street.住在中央大街。 (3)  with two floors, 这里wih是介词，意为“带有，有，伴有”。如: This is a table with three legs.这是一张三条腿的桌子。  2. -Doyou live with your grandparents? 你与你祖父母住在一起吗?     -No, they live in a big farmhouse in the country.不是。他们住在乡下的一间大农舍里。 live with...意为“与....住在一起”，with意为“和.....一起"。如: -Why not play games with us? 为什么不和我们一起玩游戏呢? -Good idea! 好主意! [比较] and和with 都有表示“和”的意思。 and是并列连词，当连接两个主语时表示复数含义，谓语用复数形式; 而with是介词，如果接在主语之后，表示从属关系，with之后所接的名词、代词与主语的数无关。如: Luey and I are good friends.我和露茜是好朋友。 Lucy, with her mother often goes shopping.露茜经常和她妈妈去购物。 3. No, they live in a big farmhouse in the country. 不，他们住在乡下的农舍里。 country 意为“乡下，农村”，常用单数形式与the连用。如: My grandparents live in the country.我的祖父母住在乡下。 [注意]country还有“国家”的释义，复数形式为countries。 如: China is a large country.中国是一个大国。 4. for rent 和 wanted 的用法 rent 意为“租用，租借;租金”，for是介词，表示用途，意为“用于....”。 for rent 意为“出租，招租”，常用于广告; rent sth. from sb.意为“向某人租用某物”。 rent sth. to sb.意为“把某物租给某人”。如: Norman rents his house to Mark at $500 a month.诺曼以每月500美元的价格把房子租给马克。 wanted 意为“求租”，还可以指“被通缉的”。如: This is a room for rent.这是一间出租房。 We rent the apartment from an old woman.我们的公寓是向一位老太太租的。 The man wanted is his brother.被通缉的那个人是他的哥哥。 [拓展] for sale意为“出售”。如: This is the house for sale. 这就是那幢要出售的房子。
