教材分析
本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语2 基础模块》中第一单元的读写((Reading and writing)板块,要求学生能通过阅读文章,熟悉并掌握介绍人物生平的传记类文章的文体特征及语言特点。学习人物类故事的表述方式,感知历史名人的伟大魅力,激发学生树立远大理想,并勇于付出努力。
学情分析
通过听说环节,学生已经掌握了旅行相关的基本表达,本节课则用“为什么人们要去旅游”这一问题打开话题,激发学生学习兴趣,引出徐霞客的生平传记。学生了解一些旅行家探险家的故事,但可能是碎片化的,且较少是英文版的,通过本课学习此类文体的特征及语言特点。再通过写作对比中外两大旅行家,拓展学生的文化视野。
学习目标

2)Watch a video about Fangqi and read an introduction about Pandeming to get more reasons why people trave.
