专题17 状语从句（讲义）-【中职专用】 中职高考英语一轮复习讲练测（河北适用） 状语从句 一、概念 状语从句就是在复合句作状语的句子。它用于修饰主句中的谓语动词、形容词和副词等。 状语从句由从属连词引导。连词不充当句子成分，只起连接作用。状语从句也可以由短语引起，有时也不需要连词而直接和主句连接起来。状语从句可放在句首或句末。放在句首时，从句后面常用逗号；放在句末时，从句前面通常不用逗号。 二、分类 状语从句根据他们的意义不同可分为时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、方式、让步、条件、比较等九种。 （一）时间状语从句 在复合句中表示时间的连接词连接一个句子做状语，表示主语所发生的时间的从句，称为时间状语从句。 常用引导词有when, while, until, as, after, before, once, since, as long as, as soon as, whenever等。 1.When （1）当......时候 It was raining when we arrived. When you read the poem a second time, the meaning will become clearer to you. （2）当主句是一般将来时态或祈使句,表示将来的意义时,从句通常用一般现在时,即“主将从现”。 When you finish the work, you may go out to play with Sam. I won ‘t leave until Mum comes back.(妈妈回来了我才会走 when 可没想到或突然；这时 I was walking along the street , when I met him. 2.Whenever指任何一个不具体的时间。 Come whenever you like. 你爱什么时候来就什么时候来。 3.while：在......期间，当......时候往往指一段时间。 常表示一段较长的时间或一个过程，强调主句的动词和从句的动词所表示的动作或状态是同时发生的。它不能表示一时性或短暂的动作。 （1）While we were in America, we saw him twice. （2）While：然而，表示转折 We are cleaning the classroom while they are playing the foot 4.Before （1）在......之前 the rabbit ate  a carrot at home before the wolf stopped by. Before the wolf stopped by, the rabbit ate a carrot at home. （2）固定句型 It is long before ...过了很久 It is not long before ...没过多久 when,while,as 5.as 一边......一边 I ate a carrot as I made the video 当......时，指一个动作紧接着一个动作发生，从句通常用进行时。 As I was going out, it began to rain. 6. after 在......之后 I ate a carrot after i made the video. until和till （1）与肯定句连用，必须是延续性动词。 He waited until/till I returned.他会等到我回来。 （2）与否定句连用，必须是非延续性动词，表示“直到......才，”。 He didn’t leave the office until he finished the work. She didn’t sleep until/till I returned. 7.since 自从...... 表示自过去的一个起点时间到目前(说话时间)为止的一段持续时间。主句一般用现在完成时，从句用一般过去时。 It’s a long time since I met you last. 好久不见。 Mr. Green has taught in that school since he came to China three years ago. 8.as soon as 一......就 We will leave as soon as it stops raining.雨一停，我们就动身 9.the moment 一......就......  =as soon as , immediately, ---Did you remember to give Mary t
