Business law, or commercial law, is, therefore, the body of law that relates to trade and commerce. The legal environment of business includes all laws and regulations dealing with any kind of business activity. Business law governs the rules of conduct of people and organizations in business, and is meant to enforce justice and obligation. 　　Business ethics, or corporate ethics, are the behavior that a business adheres to in daily dealings. They apply to all aspects of the business conduct and are relevant to the conduct of individuals and organizations. 　　Business ethics are often guided by laws, while other times they provide a basic framework that businesses may choose to follow in order to gain public acceptance. 　　The field of business ethics has blossomed due to the creation of consulting firms that help businesses to develop ethical policies and to monitor compliance with regulatory standards.
