课题名称Unit2 Morals and Virtues Mother of Ten Thousand Babies 课型 新授课 阅读课 教学重难点 重点：引导学生理清文章的基本框架，并根据时间线索了解林巧稚的生平故事并且学会根据林巧稚人生的五大抉择，推断其优秀品质以及找到支撑自己观点的事实和细节，做出思维导图。 难点： 指导学生推断指引林巧稚人生抉择的原则以及总结林巧稚的无私忘我的伟大精神。 语言输出部分（采访和讨论）对话的组织以及探索思考林巧稚的精神对周围的人以及对自己的人生抉择所产生的积极影响，做到精神传承和内化。 教学准备 教具准备：ppt，教材评价工具思维导图；表格测试 Learning Objectives: 1.To obtain key information about Lin’s amazing life. 2.To Learn about Lin’s great life choices and her qualities. 3.To learn to face moral dilemmas and make right life choices.4.To carry forward Lin’s Spirit. 设计意图： 教学目标的知识和能力目标是提升学生的阅读中迅速获取主要信息的能力，情感目标注重了精神的传承和正确人生观价值的培养和形成。 Preparations: 1.Search the Internet and try to get information about Lin Qiaozhi. 2. Ask the English monitor to borrow books about Lin Qiaozhi ,so the students in class can learn more about Doctor Lin . 3.Ask the students to have a vocabulary competition between groups to prepare students for reading. 设计意图：让学生为本次阅读课做好充分的背景知识储备和词汇知识储备，为顺利地上好本次语篇阅读课做好准备。 Previewing： Review the words we have learned in this unit and read the passage in Page 16 and then try to answer the following questions: 1.What type of writing of this passage？ 2.How does the writer develop the text, by time order or by place order? 3.Try to get the main idea of the text 设计意图：通过预习，让学生思考文章的语篇类型和写作的顺序，并通过预习语篇思考总结文章主旨要意。 Part 1. Lead in By enjoying a video to let students get a general idea of Lin’s life and at the same time introduce the topic . The students watch the video and at the same time think about the question. 设计意图：通过视频导入直观形象，视频不仅介绍了林巧稚医生的生平，从视频中我们还了解到林巧稚是钟南山的姑姑，并且她亲手接生了袁隆平，这些信息极大激发大家的学习兴趣，并引发学生对此类话题的思考，激活学生已有的经验和认知，为接下来的阅读活动做好铺垫。 核心素养提升点：选择与本课主题意义密切相关的视频，为语言学习创设意义语境，以此来整合学习内容。同时，调动学生已有的该主题的经验，帮助学生建构和完善新的知识结构，深化对该主题的理解和认识。 Part 2.
