Sample Dialogue
A: Ms. Carol, the draft of the contract is ready. Please go through it. We think all the terms should be agreed by both sides.
B: Fine. Wait a moment, Ms. Tracy. Let me go over it.(About 15 minutes later) Hmm, everything seems great except some tiny parts. Firstly, I think it’s necessary to add “the seller should notify the buyer by fax after the loading is completed, or shall be responsible for all the losses incurred.”
A: Let me see. (After a while) Well, thanks for your reminding. This stipulation is necessary for a C.F.R. transaction. I will see to it.
B: Thanks for your cooperation. Secondly, we’ve reached an agreement on the price. But I need to make sure whether you can supply the silk now if we order some?
A: Yes, certainly. We can provide the quantity you ask for. We will take it as a favorable treatment to our old friend.
B: That’s great. Let’s call it a deal.
A: I’m glad to see that we are about to come to the conclusion of the contract.
B: Sure. It looks good. Everything is in shape.
A: If you have no questions about the contract, I’ll get my secretary to prepare the contract right away so that we can sign it today.
