Important Points 1、 表语从句的定义 在复合句中做______的从句，叫做________。它位于主句的______之后，对主语进行解释说明，使主语的内容具体化。 二．表语从句的引导词 类别 例词 说明 从属连词 That, whether, as if, as though, because 等. 在从句中均不作成分，只起连接作用；that无实义，whether表示“是否”。 连接代词 Who, what, which, whoever, whatever, whose, whomever, whichever, whom等. 在从句中作主语、宾语、表语、定语等成分。 连接副词 When, where, how, why, wherever, whenever等. 在从句中作时间、地点、方式、原因状语等成分。 Exercise: 1. Attention!!! 1. 如果引出表语从句的名词是一些表示 “建议”或者是“命令”之类的词如advice, suggestion, proposal, order, plan, idea等, 那么从句中的动词通常用(should)+动词原形。 1) My suggestion is that we all (should) take an active part in the coming sports meet. 2) His proposal was that the work (should) be finished in five hours. 2. as if/as though引导的表语从句如果是事实，就用陈述语气；如果与事实不符，就用虚拟语气。 若跟现在事实不符：过去式（be动词用were） 若跟过去事实不符：had done 若跟将来事实不符：would/could+动词原形 1) Dark clouds are gathering.
