Hotel Accommodation

In the hotel industry, the front office welcomes guests to the accommodation section: meeting and greeting them, taking and organizing reservations, allocating check in and out of rooms, organizing porter service, issuing keys and other security arrangements, passing on messages to customers and settling the accounts.
Reservation is the first contact that a guest has with the hotel. Reservations are usually made through telephone, fax or computer. The reservation clerk represents the hotel whenever he or she answers the phone and deals with a caller. Every caller is a potential client, whether the person is an individual tourist or a travel agent. The clerk should make sure that callers become customers. So it’s important that each reservation request should be dealt with professionally, efficiently and courteously.
A career is an individual's journey through learning, work and other aspects of life. By the late 20th century, a wide range of choices (especially in the range of potential professions) and more widespread education had allowed it to become possible to plan (or design) a career. Traditionally, career success has often been thought of in terms of earnings and/or status within an occupation or organisation. This can be expressed either in absolute terms (e.g. the amount a person earns) or in relative terms (e.g. the amount a person earns compared with their starting salary).
