Some changes in my life How time flies! Three years has quickly passed, and I have changed a lot . On one hand, I was not good at learning English at first. When my English teacher learned about that, she taught me how to memorize(记忆) new words and to read as many passages(文章) as possible. Soon I made great progress and became interested in English. Now I do very well in English. On the other hand, I was too weak to do my exercise, but with the help of the teachers and classmates, I did exercise whenever I was free, and now I can run very fast and I'm also good at playing basketball like other boys. Thanks to the middle school life, I have changed so much! Thanks to the teachers and classmates, I have learned so much! I will never forget the valuable(有价值的) middle school life. Changes of the Way of Communication Great changes have taken place in the way of communication in peoples’ life in recent years . In the past, people kept in touch with each other mainly by writing letters or using public telephones. But now almost everyone has his own mobile phone . People can communicate with each other at any place and at any time . What’s more , people can use the Internet to send and receive e-mails. With these changes, our life is becoming more and more colorful. People can work much more efficiently. It used to take many days to hear from each other, but now it takes only a minute, even if they are in two different countries. In a word, people have an easier life nowadays. A volunteer activity Last weekend , I went to an old people’s home with some volunteers. When we got there ,we said hello to the old people and then started to do some things for them. Firstly ,we gave them some beautiful flowers and fresh fruit .Then we helped clean their rooms ,It took us about an hour to do the cleaning .After that ,some of us sang and danced for them ,some read newspapers to them ,and some chatted with them .How happy we were!
