Unit 1 Asia Reading 设计说明 本课节介绍了北京和桂林这两座城市，因此把课文分成Welcome to Beijing!和All about Guilin两个独立的部分分别进行处理。首先，展示北京风景名胜的图片，导入课文Welcome to Beijing!，利用图片教授生词，并通过B1的活动增强学生对生词的理解。抓住北京的四大景点——故宫，颐和园，天安门广场和长城，设置“阅读回答问题”和“阅读填空”帮助学生理解课文，并通过完成B2和B4的练习题进一步理解课文。其次，利用桂林山水的图片导入课文All about Guilin，利用图片教授生词或短语，并通过B1的活动增强学生对生词的理解。再通过听力活动整体了解课文内容，然后，通过B3和B4的活动进一步理解课文。最后，通过对家乡的写作达到学以致用的目的。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 掌握词汇：middle, raising, flag, wonder, lie, shape, underground, hang, point, eastern, south-east, in the middle of 2.能力目标 (1)识别并了解与北京和桂林有关的词汇；  (2)能用自己的语言介绍北京和桂林。  3.情感目标 拓宽学生的视野，激发他们对大自然和生活的热爱。 重点难点 1.重点：了解关于北京和桂林的信息并掌握相关词汇和句子。 2.难点：能用正确的表达谈论或描述中国的一座城市。 教学准备 PPT课件；相关图片 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Show students some pictures of the tourist attractions in Beijing.
