Module 8　My future life Unit 2　I know that you will be better at maths. 设计说明 通过Free talk这一形式导入新课，谈论的话题依然是即将到来的毕业聚会，这是一个非常容易引发共鸣的话题，所以学生很快就能进入课堂；通过听说训练，让学生掌握毕业演讲的主要内容；设置多重阅读任务，提高学生的阅读理解能力；讲练结合，使学生掌握本单元的新知识点并复习巩固前面所学的知识点；通过朗读短文，提升学生的朗读能力；通过设置针对性的写作任务，提升学生运用语言的能力；最后，通过达标测评，帮助学生对本节课学习任务的完成情况进行自我诊断。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学，让学生达成以下目标： 1. 知识目标： (1) 学习本单元新单词及短语: rose, laugh at, kindness, give up, try one’s best, disappointed, bedside, note, whom (2) 掌握本单元句型： ① I’m very proud that you have chosen me to speak to you today. ② I give the white rose to my teachers, who have taught me that there is no success without effort. ③ I still can’t run fast enough, but I’ve learnt to try my best, not only with running but with whatever else I do. 2.能力目标： 理解短文内容，能流利地朗读；能按要求写一篇毕业演讲。 3.情感目标： 珍惜时光，为了更美好的明天努力学习；学会感恩身边对自己有过帮助的人。 重点难点 重点：课文朗读；对新学知识点的掌握和运用 难点：写毕业演讲 教学准备 PPT课件；活动1的录音 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1　Lead-in Show the pictures to the class and have them talk freely about the pictures by asking them questions. Question: How soon will you leave school? Questions: Will you have a school-leavers’ party? When will you hold the party? Questions: Will you be happy or sad at that moment? Who will you say thanks to at that time? Step 2　Warming up Look at the picture and choose the answers to the questions. There may be more than one answer.
