UNIT 11　Sad movies make me cry. Section B (2a-2e) 第4课时 设计说明 本课时通过一些图片让学生描述其感受入手, 导入新课; 在学习完本课时的生词后逐步进入对课文的阅读和理解, 通过速读和详读完成不同的阅读任务, 让学生理解文本内容, 并特别注意文中一些习语和短语的运用。然后进行对话的角色扮演、进行语言输出, 并体会彼得心理变化的过程。最后对本课时的重要语言点进行总结和讲解, 让学生掌握, 并通过对应的练习来检测学生学习效果。 教学目标 通过本课时的学习, 让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 (1)掌握本课时新单词及短语: weight, shoulder, goal, coach, kick, besides, teammate, courage, guy, pull, relief, nod, agreement, fault, disappoint, let…down, kick sb. off, be hard on sb. , rather than, pull together。 (2)掌握重点句子: ①He was really worried that his coach might kick him off the team. ②The other half is learning how to communicate with your teammates and learning from your mistakes. 2. 能力目标 (1)能够比较熟练地运用英语语音知识朗读课文, 能够体会彼得的心理的变化。 (2)学会运用一些常用习语和短语。 (3)培养学生略读、精读的能力。 3. 情感目标 培养学生正确表达自己的情感, 正确对待挫折和不良情绪。 重点难点 重点: 理解文章大意, 掌握语篇中所涉及的重点单词、短语和句型 难点: 文中一些习语和短语的含义 教学准备 PPT课件 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1　Lead-in Show some pictures to the students and ask their feelings about the pictures.
