        Whiteboard and markers.

        Flashcards with activity names.

        A chart or poster with examples of the modal verb "can."

Introduction :

1)       Begin the lesson by asking students about their hobbies and interests.

2)       Introduce the concept of abilities using the modal verb "can."

3)       Show the chart or poster with examples of "can" and discuss its usage.

Presentation:

(1)    Use the textbook to go through the dialogue for "I Can Play the Piano."
