Unit 1 When was it invented? 一、语法focus： 含时态的被动语态：一般过去时的被动语态 根据英语的融合思维，一般过去式时的被动语态即为： was/were + done 例： The tree was planted by Jack last year. 否定：The tree was not planted by Jack last year. 一般疑问句： Was the tree planted by Jack last year? 注意：被动语态与过去分词不是一回事儿。被动语态的结构是be+动词的过去分词，在这个结构中使用到了过去分词。同学们容易与过去分词做后置定语相混淆。在某个程度下，它们在意义上面有相同的地方。 例如：被动语态：The tree was planted by Jack last year. 过去分词做后置定语：The tree planted by Jack last year was dead. 可变定从 变换成定语从句：The tree which was planted by Jack last year was dead. 二、知识点focus： 1. A: When was the telephone invented? B: I think it was invented in 1876. 将A变为: 我不知道电话什么时候发明的。________________________________________________ 将B变为: 我认为电话不是1876年发明的。________________________________________________ 例题：—A talk on American culture___________in the school hall yesterday afternoon. —It’s a pity. I missed it. A. gave B. was given C. has give D. is given 2. so /such 表示强调语气的区别与联系: so+adj./adv. eg: The road is so long. such+(a/an) +adj.+名词n. eg: He is such a great boy that… Tom is so good a man. = Tom is such a good man. 汤姆是个非常好的人。 a. 如果修饰可数名词的复数,或不可数名词,就要用such. such clever boys (不能说so clever boys)  such nice weather!
