By talking about future career, we can help students set up lofty ideals, face difficulties bravely and strive to achieve them,which inspires their vision for a better future. Thenew curriculum standardanalysis The new curriculum standard requires the students of Grade8 to understand short oral expressions with clear pronunciation and slow speech speed and obtain key information; to be able to infer people,places,events, etc according to the key words they hear; to be able to communicate with others in daily life with correct pronunciation, intonation and words, and relatively coherent expression; to understand the humanistic spirit, scientific spirit and labor value contained in the short texts and realize the traditional virtues in Chinese and foreign social life. Analysis of Teaching Materials This class is the first part in this unit, it is a listening and speaking lesson. First of all, this part brings students into the topic through pictures and text.
