Unit 4 Why don’t you talk to your parents 课时1　Section A(1a-2d) 课时教学目标 1. 了解并描述问题, 简单分析各种问题产生的原因。 2. 用完整的语段梳理各种建议；并尝试用why not, could, should, although 等提出建议或劝告。 教学重点： 1.Key vocabulary: allow, wrong, guess, deal. What’s wrong? look through, big deal, have a fight with,work out, tell sb. to do, give... back to,be angry with. 2.Key sentences: a. Why don’t you...?= Why not...? b. What about...?= How about...? c. You should call him so that you can say you’re sorry. d. I found my sister looking through my things yesterday. 3.Structure: a. Why not do...? b. What about doing...? c. ... so that... d. ...through... 教学难点： Learn to ask for help and give suggestions. 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Show a picture of a sad boy with his mother sitting beside him to the students, let them talk about it and guess what happened to that boy. Step 2 Talking (1a) 1. Let students work in pairs. Ask students to discuss the problems with their partners. 2. Let students talk about their answers. Encourage them to share the ideas like “I think ... is (not) serious.” Textbook Answers Answers will vary. Key points 1. allow v. 允许，准许allow sb.
