Students are familiar with all the changes caused by the advances of high technology, especially the great popularity of smart phone in our life. It is likely that students will be interested in the topic of the unit. For the passage to be taught, it is not difficult for students to find the differences and similarities between the old and new bookstore. However, it’s difficult for them to understand why these differences matter and learn to be creative and apply what they’ve learnt into practice.
