Step1: Class opening and review

Start the lesson with the chants I am a rainbow in Lesson 8 and Colourful clothes in Lesson 10.
【设计思路】复习课往往是学生认为比较沉闷的课型。在Ice break 环节利用本单元中的两个chant,既能体现复习重点又能活跃课堂气氛。

Step3: Class Activities
1、Review the words and structures in this unit. Play the flash, show the words and structures. Ask Ss to read and translate them. Do Chinese- English and English- Chinese translation according to the sentence samples given.
【设计思路】对本单元基础词汇和结构从读音、拼写、词义到用法上进行梳理,为之后复习短语句型做铺垫。英汉互译的句子都来源于课本,帮助学生更好地记忆掌握目标语言。
2. Review the language points and grammar in this unit.
3. Review the usage of “be” by playing the flash and showing the conversation. Let Ss notice the words in red (Be in different forms).
4. Review colour words in sentences. (What colour is it?).
5. Review clothes words in sentences. (Do you like…)
6. Make Ss finish Activity I and II in Building Your Vocabulary.
7. Ask Ss about their favourite colours. Help them response in two different ways. (I like…/ My favourite colour is…). Review the personal pronouns and the possessive pronouns.
8. Then finish the exercises in Grammar in Use.
9. Finish the other exercises in the flash to practice the key points above.
