Warm-up
Exercise 1
Purpose: to help students know things in their bedroom
· Hold up the Student Book, showing the picture from Exercise 1. Say "This is Weimin's room. What's in his room?" Revise prepositions of place and introduce things in the bed-room. Say sentences to describe the room, for example, "The balls are in the basket. The coat is on the bed. The computer is on the desk. The clock is on the wall". Continue in this way until you have mentioned all the objects, making sure students understand their meaning. Then point to each object and say the word aloud, for example, bed. Say "Re-peat after me and point to it in your book" Continue until you have presented all the Key Words. If you feel your students are ready to do the exercise, you may skip this step.
· Say "Now label the things in the picture with the Key Words". If students need support, you may have them work in pairs.
· Go over the answers, having individual students say the words aloud. Check students' pronunciation of the Key Words.

Expansion: Let's Revise!
Activity 1: Revise prepositions of place. Ask questions about the objects in the room, for example, "Where is the coat?" Elicit It's on the bed. Continue with the other objects, having individual students or the entire class answer. Alternately, have students take turns asking questions in pairs.
Activity 2: Revise classroom things. Ask students to identify other objects in the bedroom. Refer them to the pictures of the classrooms on page 16 if necessary. Students should be able to identify shelf, exercise book and books; students may be able to identify poster, pillow, blanket, lamp, side table,
