A ruler is used to measure length and draw straight lines. A stopwatch is used to measure the time interval of an event.  An electronic balance/scale is a measurement device used to measure the weight or mass of an object or substances. A pencil is an implement for writing or drawing. Knives can serve various purposes. Hunters use a hunting knife, soldiers use the combat knife, scouts, campers, and hikers carry a pocket knife (口袋折刀，小刀); there are kitchen knives for preparing foods, table knives (餐桌刀), knives for throwing or juggling (投掷或杂耍用刀), and knives for religious ceremony or display (宗教仪式或展示用刀). 职业模块·生产制造类 3.
