I would like to talk about “life is a journey” first. The sentence “life is a journey” is a metaphor (隐喻). Life is often compared to life, because life is full of ups and downs just like a journey. We can regard life as a package. Happiness and sorrow, success and failure, hope and despair are included in this package. In our life, we cannot regret over the past, as the past is beyond our control. Therefore, what we should do is to learn from the past and look forward to the future.
