The Chinese zodiac sign is a 12-year cycle labelled with animals, starting with Rat and ending with Pig.
There are 12 Chinese zodiac signs, in the following order: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. Each sign is named after an animal, and each animal has its own unique characteristics.
Asking someone’s zodiac sign is a polite way of asking one’s age.
