A: The main types of nonfinite verbs are  1)infinitives 不定式 (with or without to),  2) -ing forms ing形式的词 (现在分词+动名词) 3) past participles 过去分词 B: What are the functions (作用) of the nonfinite verbs? A: Nonfinite verbs function as nouns(名词), adjectives(形容词), or adverbs(副词), or combine with a finite verb for verb tense(与一个限定动词搭配作为时态出现). B:Thanks very much.You are very helpful. Nonfinite Verbs 非谓语动词 1. To hear your voice is so nice. 2. Reading makes our life happy. 3. I was pleased at the news. 非谓语动词 指不能单独作谓语，但同时仍保留动词某些特征的动词形式。它们没有人称和数的变化，但可以有自己的宾语、状语等。非谓语动词有三种，即动词不定式、动名词和分词（含现在分词和过去分词）。 (动词不定式) (动名词) (过去分词) (Ⅰ) Nonfinite Verbs 非谓语动词 动词不定式构成：to+动词原形 动词不定式在句中作主语、表语、宾语、宾语补足语、定语和状语。（就是不作谓语） To learn a foreign language is not easy.
