Aims on ability (1) To improve students’ reading ability, especially their skimming and scanning ability. (2) To train students’ abilities of studying by themselves and cooperating. 3. Aims on emotion (1)To develop a suitable sports hobby and make students love sports, enjoy life. Teaching Difficulties 1.)Students can master the words and sentences of the lesson. 2.)Students can understand the main idea of the passage. 3.) Students can improve their reading ability. 4.) Students can increase their interest in sports and enjoy life. 5.) Students can make suggestions and express their own opinions.
