It is taken from Unit2 SectionB 3a-3b,Grade 9 of Go for it. This is the fifth period of this unit.It is mainly about favorite Chinese festival. Students have learned some basic knowledge ,such as words, phrases ,sentence patterns about festivals and objective clause with that .It’s not too difficult for them to have this class. Part 2 Teaching objectives 1.Language ability To talk and write favorite festival by using references words and sentence patterns. 2.Learning ability To train the writing skills To know how to evaluate and appreciate other’s article. 3.Thinking ability To show ideas logically 4.Cultural awareness To aware the importance of Chinese culture and be proud of Chinese culture. Part 3 Teaching Important &Difficult Teaching Important:1.Ss are able to master the target language. 2.To train students’ writing ability by using complex sentences and some linking words. Teaching Difficult: Students are able to know how to use some writing skills and improve their writing ability.
