The type of this lesson is reading and revision, and according to the Junior High School English Curriculum Standards that requests the students who are in Grade 8 should achieve the level 4.From the aspects of language skills, the students can infer the meaning of new words from the context and understand the logical relationships between each sentence in a paragraph. They can understand reading material of different common texts and they can use appropriate reading strategies to find information according to different reading tasks. Combined with the teaching content of this lesson, I design the teaching aims. 学情 分析 The students in Grade 8 have stored some English language skills. After one-year studying, the students have formed certain self-study abilities and they have a good sense of cooperation.
