中考英语冠词过关 冠词主要放在名词之前，说明名词所表示的人或事物。冠词有三种：不定冠词（the Indefinite Article）a和an，定冠词（the Definite Article）the，零冠词（名词前不用冠词）。 一、不定冠词 不定冠词仅用在单数可数名词前面，表示“一”的意义，但不强调数目观念，只表示某类人或物中不确定的一个。a用于以辅音（不是辅音字母）开头的单词前，an用于以元音（不是元音字母）开头的单词前。例如： France is a European country and Japan is an Asian one. 法国是欧洲的国家,日本是亚洲国家。 1、注意不定冠词的选用： a university, a useful dictionary, an umbrella, an honest boy, an unusual thing, half an hour, a “u”，an “s” 2、用于表示时间、速度、价格等意义的名词前，有“每一”的意思，相当于every。例如： We students have six lessons a day now. 现在我们学生每天上六节课。 3、不定冠词用在专有名词前面，表示“一个”“一种”“一类”或“一个类似……的”。例如： There was a Mr. Zhuge living in that old house 10 yeas ago. 10年前有个诸葛先生住在那个老房子里。 That city is a Venice in China. 那个城市是中国的威尼斯。 4、用在某些物质名词或抽象名词前，表示“一阵，一份，一类，一场”等。例如： There will be a heavy snow in Northeast China tomorrow. 明天中国东北有大雪。 5、必背词组： a few/little/bit 一点儿；have a rest 休息；have a good time 玩得高兴；once upon a time 从前；keep a diary 写日记；in a hurry 匆忙地；for a while 一会儿；have a cold/fever 感冒/发烧；have a nice trip 旅途愉快；a knife and fork 一副刀叉；a singer and dancer 一位歌手兼舞蹈家；a singer and a dancer 一位歌手和一位舞蹈家 二、定冠词 定冠词表示特定的一个或一类人、事物，表示“这”“那”“这些”“那些”的意思，在可数名词的单、复数及不可数名词前都可以使用。例如： Do you know the earth moves around the sun? 你知道地球绕着太阳转吗？ Tom can play football and Jack can play the piano. 汤姆会踢足球，杰克会弹钢琴。 1、用在序数词、形容词最高级前面，以及对两个人或事物进行比较时起特指作用的比较级前。例如： The Yellow River is the second longest river in China. 黄河是中国第二长河。 Winter is the coldest season in Jinan. 冬天是济南最冷的季节。 Kate is the thinner of the twins. 凯特在这对双胞胎中较瘦。 2、用在姓氏的复数形式前面表示全家人或这一姓的夫妇二人。 The Blacks were playing cards when I called them. 当我给他们电话时，布莱克一家人/布莱克夫妇正在打牌。 3、与某些形容词连用，表示某一类人或事物。常用的如： the poor 穷人；the rich 富人；the young 年轻人；the old 老人；the deaf 聋人；the blind 盲人 The old were taken good care of there last year. 去年老年人在那儿受到了良好的照顾。 4、必背词组： in the morning 在上午；in the daytime 在白天；in the future 在未来；at the moment 现在；by the way 顺便说；in the way 挡路，妨碍；in the middle of 在……中间；in front of 在……前面；at the beginning of 在……开始时；in the end 最后；at the age of 在……岁时；at the same time 同时；all the time 一直；the same as
