Step 2 Pre-reading T shows a picture and some descriptions of the Amazon Rainforest and asks Ss to get to know of it. T shows the pictures of the Amazon Rainforest and asks Ss to watch and learn. T and Ss learn the background knowledge of the Amazon Rainforest together. 【设计意图】通过展示亚马逊热带雨林的图片，让学生对其产生感性认识，然后为学生讲解亚马逊热带雨林的背景知识，帮助他们了解亚马逊热带雨林，引起学生的兴趣，导入新课。 Step 3 While-reading T and Ss read the passage together and learn some knowledge of the Amazon Rainforest.
