(5) It’s taller than many other buildings… 3. 能够听懂介绍祖国和家乡的对话。 4. 能够比较两个地方的不同，并与同学进行多轮对话。 5. 能够学习强化对形容词比较级形式的认知并且学习-er的发音。 6. 培养学生对祖国和家乡的热爱。 二、教学重点及难点 重点：能够运用形容词的比较级进行两个不同城市或地点的比较。 难点：形容词（单音节词和部分双音节词）的规则比较级形式及其使用。 三、教学准备 1. 多媒体设备和课件； 2. 设计课后巩固练习； 3. 教学图片。 四、教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up 1. Free talk Where is your home town? Did you go to other cities? What are they? Which city do you like best? 2. Look at the pictures of Hong Kong and Shanghai, and then talk about what these two cities are famous for. 【设计意图】通过师生互动的方式引导学生说出他们所知道的著名城市，以及香港和上海的地标建筑，自然地导入本单元话题。 Step 2 Pre-listening Look at the pictures and learn some new words. 【设计意图】学习新词汇，为下面的学习奠定基础。 Activity 1 1. Look at the pictures and talk about them. 2. Listen and complete. 【设计意图】预先熟悉课文对话中出现的相关城市的背景信息，为理解主课文作好语言上的铺垫。 Step 3 While-listening Activity 2 1. Watch the video and answer the questions. 2. Listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks. 【设计意图】通过听力活动训练培养学生概括对话大意和获取细节的能力。 Step 4 Post-listening 1. Complete the passage about Shenzhen according to the conversation. 2. Role-play the conversation. 【设计意图】通过对话内容补全短文帮助学生再次巩固对对话内容的理解，再通过角色扮演锻炼学生的口语表达能力，将所学内容内化为自己的知识。 Language points 1.
